Property Tax Payments

Mail it to the City Clerk-Treasurer, 150 s. Bridge Street, P.O.
Box 352, Markesan, WI 53946. If you require a receipt, please include
a self-addressed, stamped return envelope. No receipts will be provided
otherwise.

Use the drop box at the east entrance to the City Hall. The drop
box is just left of the door to the building. If you would like a
receipt, please include a self-addressed, stamped return envelope. No
receipts will be provided otherwise.

Pay at City Hall. The Clerk-Treasurer’s Office is open 8:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m.

If you are late in
paying your taxes, you will be charged a penalty and interest charge.
The interest starts on February 1 and accumulates at a rate of one per
cent per month.
