Recycling Information

The City of Markesan requires mandatory recycling throughout the city.  Recyclable items are collected on regular refuse collection days and should be placed in blue bags and placed at the curb by 7 a.m.  Glass, plastic and metal containers can be placed in the same bag.    Newspapers, magazines and corrugated cardboards should be tied in bundles and placed curbside next to the blue recycling bags.
