One of the busiest service organizations in the area is the Markesan
Lions. With the support of thousands of people over the years, the
local club has had the opportunity to say "yes" to many people in need.
With an active membership of around 40, there are many hands to make any
club project seem easy. The Lions meet the first and third Wednesday of
each month at the Lanterns Supper Club. Current president Pete Grams
