Definition of a Fence

Any barrier constructed of wood, wire, metal, stone, or a combination thereof.

Regulations

Such fences shall not exceed 6 feet in height and shall not be constructed within 18 inches of any lot line.  All fences shall be kept in good repair or condition.  A Building Permit is required for all fences.  The cost of a Fence Permit is $5.00.

All fences shall meet the structural and permit requirements in the Building Code.  Any person constructing a fence is encouraged to contact Digger’s Hotline before placing fence posts.
