April 3
Breakfast with the Bunny at Sandy’s Diner, Lions Easter Egg Hunt, noon at the Elementary School

April 4
7:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Markesan Fire Department Breakfast at the Elementary School
 

May 1
Grand Valley Historical Museum opens

May 3 & 4
7:30 p.m. Kiwanis Annual Variety Show at the Markesan High School

May 23
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – American Legion & Auxiliary Chicken BBQ at the Markesan Legion Hall

May 31
8:30 a.m. - Markesan Memorial Day Parade starts proceeding from the Abendroth Connolly American Legion Hall to the cemetery.

 Cemetery walk through       Cemetery on      sponsored by the Markesan Historical Society.
Walk will commence following the Memorial Day services.

5:00 p.m. til gone – Markesan Lions Pork Roast held at Soldiers and Sailors Park.

August 14-15
Harvest Festival -  Free corn, games & activities starting 4:30-7:30.  The Little Red Dairy Barn/FFA & Markesan Lions and SnoDrifters will be serving food, refreshments and ice cream. Russ and Ron will provide music.  Dizzy D and Community Options will provide games and entertainment.  The Pinata Ceremony will be at 6 pm.  Stubby;s Wiffle Ball Tournament, Lions street dance, parade and live music.
